Shish Kabob Marinade

½ cup oil
¼ cup vinegar
¼ cup onion, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

In a large container, combine all ingredients.  Cut beef or chicken into large bite size pieces.  Marinate meat over night or for a few hours.  Skewer meats alternately with desired fruit or vegetables onto skewers.  (If using wood, presoak skewers to cut down burning of wood while on the BBQ.)

For many 4th of July BBQ’s this was the traditional menu at Diane's house.
